027 RTP Capital’s Mark Friedman and Elaine Bolle: Understanding Angel Investing Part 2
Show Notes
Mark and Elaine join me today to share the steps that entrepreneurs should take before approaching an angel investor. They explain how partnering with an investor will affect an early-stage startup in terms of ownership and control and share their views on the Shark Tank TV show. Mark stresses the importance of finding useful resources and tools and Elaine reveals the questions that entrepreneurs should ask themselves before attending a pitch event as well as highlights some of the red flags that angel investors are watching for.
There is a reason that people making investments are called angels. They’re really looking to work with entrepreneurs and help them, in addition to trying to make a good investment and return on investment.
