Young, beginning, and small farmers can take a course called Ag Biz Planner to learn how to best run their farming operations. We also host a Leadership Institute seminar annually to focus on management, transition, and business planning.
Who is this program for?
Any farmer in North Carolina 35 years of age or younger with 10 or fewer years farming experience and generates less than $250,000 annually.
What problem does it solve?
Getting a start in the agriculture industry can be difficult, and finding a reliable line of credit when you're just starting out can be even harder.
