The University of North Carolina Wilmington Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship nurtures emerging companies and works to accelerate the entrepreneurial ecosystem in southeastern North Carolina. The UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is the region's largest sponsor of events, training, and educational programs for the entrepreneurial community. The UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is a vibrant and creative hub where the members of the business community join UNCW faculty and students to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. Through events, opportunities, research, and education, we are building a large community of entrepreneurs.
Who is this program for?
Entrepreneurs from "napkin stage" to fledgling startup, especially those with business in tech, education, healthcare, media production, and marine sciences.
What problem does it solve?
People who want to start a business often lack connections, formal business education, knowledge of the process, mentors, and space to work.
How does it help?
The UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship provides all of the above: an incubator space, 100+ business education seminars/workshops per year, mentors, and resources like a device lab and high-tech event space.
