Loran Evans, owner of Rightline Gear in Asheville, says learn to hire people ahead of where you are rather than behind where you are. "If you build it, the business will come," he says.

Learn to hire people ahead of where you are, rather than a little bit behind where you are. It costs more money. You're going, "Oh my gosh, can I afford that?" Well, a good friend of mine gave me advice, "If you build it, the business will come." And I think that's proven to be very true.
