Amanda Vickers, owner of Mountains to Sea Skincare in Asheville, says when it comes to personal development and wellness, you have to draw boundaries as a small business owner. While it's possible to work on your business every hour of every day, it's not healthy or sustainable.
So the idea of taking care of yourself so that you can take care of your business, sometimes means you have to draw boundaries with your business. It is possible to do work on your business every waking hour of every day. I'm sure that there are things to be done, but when you do that until you hate it, then you're not gonna do work
that sustains you in the long run. And you're probably not going to create those resonances in the world with other people who are excited about what they're doing 'cause you're gonna shut people out. So you've really got to just like focus on the stuff that works, cut the dead weight, and be real about where your energy is getting that positive feedback.
